On Friday 2nd May 2014, Breaking Barriers visited the TOMSS project at JET in Fenham, Newcastle. The Child Literacy class is based around teaching young parents how to educate their wn children whilst improving their communication skills. The class takes place on a Friday morning for two hours.

The students that we interviewed demonstrated to us how their skills have developed and how their relationship with their children has improved since they've been studying under the TOMSS project. 

Here was what we discovered from our interviews during the Child Literacy Class.
